CLART was born from a simple but powerful idea: to build a business rooted in family, creativity, and care. As parents of young children, we wanted to create something meaningful — a company that would not only support our family, but reflect the values we hold close: quality, trust, and personal connection.
CLART now encompasses three specialist brands — The Blinds Company, MyFitter and CLART Curtains — each offering a distinct but complementary service. CLART Curtains focuses on bespoke soft furnishings, from elegant curtains and blinds to custom cushions, while MyFitter provides expert installation services across the UK. Together, they allow us to deliver beautifully tailored interiors with the warmth and reliability of a family-run business.

Tom
Following a 20-year career in IT, Tom joined Antonia in running CLART, bringing his technical precision and project management skills into the world of bespoke curtains, blinds and fittings. Day to day, he can be found on the road fitting curtains, poles, tracks, blinds, hand‑crafting pelmets in the workshop or overseeing larger commercial installations (though he’s never shy about picking up a drill and lending a hand). Tom’s methodical approach and eye for detail ensure every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Outside of work, Tom is a keen Pickleball player, having discovered the sport after playing Padel with friends in Spain.
